We strive to protect the environment and take action to reduce Company’s negative impact on the environment. Therefore, we act to implement our environmental policy, include social and environmental considerations in decision-making processes and increase awareness to environmental issues among Company’s employees and managers.
Set forth below are the main components of our environmental policy
Identifying areas of environmental impact – identifying material environmental issues which are relevant to the activity of the Company and its stakeholders
Environmental management – implementing the policy and integrating environmental considerations into decision-making processes and work plans
Environmental responsibility across the supply chain – encouraging business partners to adopt the Company’s environmental policy
Transparency and reporting – measurement of and control over environmental performance while providing reliable, accurate and transparent reports to the relevant bodies (in accordance with needs and business considerations)
Compliance with the provisions of environmental laws and regulations
Increasing awareness among Company’s employees and managers through training, communication and information-sharing in order to increase environmental awareness and personal responsibility of each of the Group’s employees
Furthermore, the Company operates according to sustainable investment rules and aspires to include, where possible, environmental, social and governance considerations in its investment decision-making processes
In 2019 we joined the Ministry of Environmental Protection’s initiative of voluntary reporting of greenhouse gas emissions. The adoption of this initiative is another step in our commitment to protect the environment. The voluntary report to the Ministry of Environmental Protection is issued on a multi-year basis, and the reporting cycle is a one-year cycle
