Human Capital

We believe that skilled, motivated, and dedicated employees are the key to our continued success as one of Israel’s leading companies. As part of our human capital strategy, we foster a safe and healthy work environment, promote diversity and gender equality, and invest in the growth and wellbeing of our people.

A Responsible and Forward-Looking Workplace

Employee health and safety are a top priority across all our sites. We actively respond to changing needs and provide tools and resources that support excellence, innovation, and creativity. Our Human Resources Division leads all people-related activities, with a focus on building engagement, strengthening our employer brand, and embedding a culture of wellbeing. Each year, the division sets new goals and takes a future-oriented approach to addressing challenges in the workplace. Areas of focus include: diversity and equal opportunity, efficient recruitment, retention, employee and leadership development, organizational engagement, internal communications, and driving innovation in work processes.

Employee Wellbeing

We place strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, offering a wide range of benefits and services to support both personal and financial needs. From time to time, Clal also provides employees with access to preferential insurance and financial products, including general insurance, health and life insurance, and pension solutions.

Learning and Development

As part of our human capital strategy, we invest in training, professional development, and leadership programs to support long-term career growth for our people.

Diversity and Gender Equality

Promoting gender equality and increasing representation of underrepresented groups are core priorities at Clal. We believe a diverse workforce enhances creativity, innovation, and efficiency, and contributes to developing new products and services. To advance these goals, we appointed a dedicated Diversity Officer and set annual targets to strengthen representation across the company.

Five-Star Rating in the Maala Diversity & Inclusion Index

The Maala Diversity & Inclusion Index evaluates company data and programs that promote inclusive workplaces. The ranking is carried out in partnership with Israel’s Equal Employment Opportunities Commission and the Ministry of Economy and Industry. In 2024, Clal took part for the second year in a row and was once again awarded the highest score – five stars.

Gender Pay Gap Analysis – 2024

In line with Israel’s Equal Pay Law (effective June 1, 2022), Clal Insurance and Finance conducted a thorough analysis of 2024 salary data to examine gender pay gaps. To ensure meaningful results, employees were divided into 25 comparable groups based on role and level. The analysis revealed an average pay gap of less than 1% in favor of men – significantly lower than the average gap reported in Israel’s private sector.
